VEHICLE TYRES
DRIVE
February 3, 2016
A vehicle tire (1) for a motor vehicle is presented, with shoulder blocks (2, 3) extending into the side surface of the vehicle tire (1), wherein, viewed in the circumferential direction (U), alternately a short shoulder block (2) is arranged following a long shoulder block (3), as well as with at least one block row (4, 5, 6) running in the circumferential direction (U) of the vehicle tire (1), which has profile blocks (9, 10) in the region of a ground contact surface (12) divided by a geometric center line (11), the profile blocks being delimited from one another and from the shoulder blocks (2, 3) by grooves (7, 8). The inventive solution resides in the fact that two profile blocks (9, 10) of a block row (4, 5, 6) that are adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction (U) of the vehicle tire (1) and each have approximately equal lateral widths (13) exhibit a lateral offset relative to one another with respect to the geometric center line (11) of the vehicle tire (1).
