The battery cell 1 includes: a pouch 10; plural current collectors 31 stacked in a stacking direction and projecting to the outside of the pouch through an opening 12 of the pouch; a first resin 51 sealing the opening of the pouch and welded to the current collector at a position between the stacked current collectors; a second resin 52 sealing the opening of the pouch, the second resin 52 being welded to the current collector at a position between the stacked current collectors, and being located closer to a center in the stacking direction than the first resin is to the center. The second resin 52 is thinner than the first resin in the stacking direction and/or has a lower melting point than the first resin 56.
