The invention relates to an engine component (1) of a reciprocating piston engine with a group of several cylinders (3) arranged side by side, between which a land area (2) extends in each case, wherein in the land area (2) between two adjacent cylinders (3) at least one fluid channel (12; 22), in particular running transversely to a cylinder axis (4), is formed, which connects a first and second region (5a, 5b; 20, 20) of a fluid channel system to one another, so that during operation of the reciprocating piston engine a fluid flows from the first region (5a; 20) through the fluid channel (12; 22) into the second region (5b; 20) and thereby dissipates heat from the cylinders (3) via the land area (2) and cools the land area (2). The invention further relates to an internal combustion engine with such an engine component and a vehicle with an internal combustion engine.
