The invention concerns an electric actuator (1) for making optical elements mobile, comprising a motor (3), a mechanical transmission assembly (10) comprising a worm gear (15), a support element for the worm gear (15), a drive means (20), a return means (25), said motor (3) being configured to drive said mechanical transmission assembly (10) and said mechanical transmission assembly (10) being configured to drive said drive means (20), characterized in that said return means (25) exerts an axial pressure against the worm gear (15) so as to press the worm gear (15) against the support element. The invention also concerns an assembly comprising a mobile optical element and an electric actuator (1) of said mobile optical element as described above.
