ADJUSTMENT OF A TORQUE REQUESTED FROM AN ENGINE
DRIVE
January 6, 2016
The present invention relates to a method and a system arranged for the control of an engine speed É e for an engine in connection with play in a powertrain in a vehicle. According to the present invention, a current rotational speed difference É pres is determined between a first end of the powertrain, rotating with a first rotational speed É 1 , and a second end of the powertrain, rotating with a second rotational speed É 2 . Furthermore, a rotational speed difference É after is determined, which has to prevail between the first end and the second end after the play. The rotational speed difference É after after the play is determined based on a spring constant k related to a torsional compliance in the powertrain. The control of the engine speed É e for the engine is then implemented across a time period T gl a pp , during which the play in the powertrain prevails. This control is based on the determined current rotational speed difference É pres and the determined rotational speed difference É after after the play.
