A timer reminder device includes an acquiring portion, a determination portion, and a notification portion. When the determination portion determines that a predetermined display condition for displaying a timer setting information is satisfied, the notification portion permits a display portion to display the timer setting information acquired by the acquiring portion. For example, the display condition is set as a time that a user connects a battery to an external power source while forgetting that a timer has been set. In this case, even if the user connects to the battery while forgetting that the timer has been set, the timer reminder device reminds the user by displaying the timer setting information, and indicates whether the time at which the user connects the battery is available for charging or not. Therefore, when the timer reminder device is used, instances in which the battery fails to charge, against the user's intention, when connected to the external power source can be reduced.
