"textContent": "A hydraulic assembly is provided for a vehicle braking system (100) having at least two brake circuits (102,104) and wheel brakes (106,108,110,112) associated with the brake circuits (102,104), wherein the hydraulic assembly is implemented in the form of a self-contained sub-assembly (502). The sub-assembly comprises a master cylinder (114) for generating hydraulic pressure by the driver, a pedal feedback simulation unit (126), and a housing block for accommodating valves (118,134) and pressure sensors (P). The sub-assembly (502) further comprises a pressure generator (116) which has an electric motor (146), a transmission (148), and a cylinder/piston system (160) with a hydraulic chamber (150) and a piston (152), wherein a position of the piston (152) within the hydraulic chamber (150) is adjustable by means of the electric motor (146). The electric motor (146) is arranged orthogonally to the axis of the master cylinder (114). Furthermore, an electrohydraulic or regenerative vehicle braking system (100) is provided, which comprises the hydraulic assembly.",
