A stabilization device is described for technical assistance in securing objects, in particular for damaged vehicles, comprising a first plate which has a support surface on its upper side for the object to be secured, and a second plate which has a standing surface on its underside on a surface lying below the object to be secured, wherein the first plate and the second plate are arranged opposite one another and are provided with a guide device for parallel displacement relative to one another, wherein a recess with at least one inclined surface is formed between the first plate and the second plate, which is designed to receive a corresponding insertion element, so that parallel displacement of the first plate relative to the second plate is effected by inserting the insertion element by means of force application.
