The invention relates to an electronic circuit (200, 300) for a blind spot monitoring display, comprising: a circuit carrier (210); a first light source (204) mounted on the circuit carrier (210); a second light source (207) mounted on the circuit carrier (210); a circuit connection (201, 202) mounted on the circuit carrier (210), which is coupled with the first light source (204) and the second light source (207), wherein the electronic circuit (200, 300) comprises circuit means (203, 205, 206) which are designed to supply current to either the first light source (204) or the second light source (207) based on a polarity of a voltage applied to the circuit connection (201, 202).
