DUAL TEMPERATURE HVAC SYSTEM

A heating, ventilation, and air (16) conditioning (HVAC) system (10) for a vehicle (12) includes an evaporator (24) and a diffuser (28). The evaporator (24) is configured to cool air (16) passing through the evaporator (24). The diffuser (28) is configured to direct a first portion (30) of the air (16) entering the diffuser (28) through a first section (36) of the evaporator (24), and direct a second portion (32) of the air (16) entering the diffuser (28) through a second section (38) of the evaporator (24). The evaporator (24) and the diffuser (28) are configured to cooperate such that air (16) exits the first section (36) at a first temperature and air (16) exits the second section (38) at a second temperature less than the first temperature.
