The invention relates to an arrangement of a hand support element in a vehicle, in particular in a commercial vehicle, wherein the hand support element (13) is arranged and/or designed such that an operating menu of a, preferably visual, display device (7), in particular a touchscreen, of the vehicle can be operated and/or actuated with a hand of a driver of the vehicle resting on and/or supported by the hand support element (13), wherein the hand support element (13) and the display device (7) are fixed to the vehicle, in particular to at least one console (1) of the vehicle, and wherein the hand support element (13) is displaceable between a use position and a stowage position. According to the invention, the hand support element (13), viewed in the vehicle vertical direction (z), is arranged in a displaceable manner at a defined height offset, in particular beneath the display device (7).
