METHOD FOR DYNAMIC CALCULATION OF GAS FLOWS
DRIVE
November 11, 2015
The invention relates to a method for dynamic determination of gas flows in a pipeline system (1), in particular in intake or exhaust lines of internal combustion engines, wherein components (B1, B2, B3, Bi) and pipe sections (R1, R2, R3, Ri) are modeled by a sequence of model volumes (V1, V2, Vi) and model throttles (D1, D2, D3, Di), as well as a computer program for carrying out such a method. In order to enable real-time calculation with low computational effort, it is provided that several components (B1, B2, B3, Bi) and/or pipe sections (R1, R2, R3, Ri) in the pipeline system (1) are combined into component groups (KG1, KG2, KG3, KGi), wherein a single model volume (V1, V2, Vi) and/or a single model throttle (D1, D2, D3, Di) is assigned to the component group (KG1, KG2, KG3, KGi). On the basis of this combination, the mass flows are then calculated.
