The present invention relates to a device (1, 101) for supporting a cycle, comprising: - at least three support points (8, 30, 36, 108, 130, 136) configured to support a wheel (52) of the cycle; - wherein at least one support point is a substantially fixed support point; - wherein at least one other support point is a displaceable support point displaceable relative to the at least one substantially fixed support point; - wherein the at least three support points are arranged in a substantially upright plane; and - wherein support points are positioned relative to each other such that a wheel axle (54) of a wheel supported by the at least three support points is situated between the rear and front support points.
