METHOD FOR DETERMINING A CRANKING POSITION OF A COMBUSTION ENGINE
DRIVE
November 11, 2015
The invention relates to a method for determining a crankshaft position of an internal combustion engine, wherein a rotational speed profile of the crankshaft is recorded over time; wherein the crankshaft position (OT*) is determined by comparing the rotational speed profile with a known rotational speed profile of a work cycle of the internal combustion engine; wherein the known rotational speed profile has a section characteristic of the crankshaft position; wherein a signal of an electrical machine coupled to the crankshaft is recorded; wherein a value (OT', OT", OT"') of the signal occurring at least once per work cycle is taken into account in the determination of the crankshaft position; and wherein the determination of the crankshaft position is carried out by superposition and/or combination of the crankshaft position as determined by comparison with the rotational speed profile with the crankshaft position as determined from the value (OT', OT", OT"').
