DRIVE
November 4, 2015
A supercharger clutch arrangement (1) comprises an input shaft (2) connected to a first engagement portion (3) and an output shaft (4) connected to a second engagement portion (5). The first and second engagement portions (3, 5) are arranged to connect and engage each other by frictional forces upon connection via corresponding frictional surfaces (6a, 6b). The input shaft (2) is placed in first and second bearings (7a, 7b). The arrangement (1) comprises means for reducing emitted noise during engagement slip by allowing shaft movement axially and or allocating contact way from rotation centre.
