DRIVE
November 4, 2015
The invention relates to a parking brake device for a vehicle, preferably for a commercial vehicle, comprising at least one spring accumulator brake cylinder (3); an electrically controllable first valve device (4) which is designed to initiate venting and/or aeration of the at least one spring accumulator brake cylinder (3) in dependence on an electrical control signal. The parking brake device further comprises a switchable second valve device (5), having a pneumatic control input (7) and an electrical control input (8), which is designed to initiate venting of the at least one spring accumulator brake cylinder (3) when a pneumatic pressure at the pneumatic control input (7) is present that is less than a predetermined threshold value, and when no electrical current is available at the electrical control input (8).
