PURPOSE: The present invention provides an internal-combustion engine which supplies power by subjecting a fuel oil to combustion and makes it possible to reduce amounts of exhaust gases such as NOX and THC. CONSTITUTION: An internal-combustion engine, characterized in that the engine comprises a combustion chamber which is adapted so that a fuel oil and gas comprising 65% by volume or more of oxygen are subjected to combustion in the combustion chamber.
