DRIVE
October 28, 2015
An engine includes: an intake port that includes a main flow passage that communicates with a combustion chamber via a throat section; the main flow passage section includes a first/second surfaces; a first extended line defined by extending an end of the first surface toward the combustion chamber is located at the throat section side rather than an umbrella section of an intake valve when the intake valve is in a maximum lift state; a crossing position between the end of the first surface and the throat section has a bent shape; a second extended line defined by extending a middle line located at the middle of the first surface and the second surface toward the combustion chamber is located at the combustion chamber side rather than a portion of a valve seat that is closest to the exhaust port.
