A battery pack according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first battery and a second battery; a connector unit having an electrode terminal and a communication terminal and configured to be connected to an external device; and a BMS configured to determine whether the connector unit and the external device are connected and control the electrical connection relationship between the first battery, the second battery and the external device according to the external device connected to the connector unit.
