The invention relates to a padding element (1) which is formed from a fiber composite material with a three-dimensionally stochastically oriented fiber material. According to the invention, the fiber composite material comprises at least one weldable thermoplastic. Furthermore, the invention relates to a seat, in particular a vehicle seat, and a method for producing such a padding element (1).
