Component (1) of a vehicle lighting device comprising: - a component body (2) comprising at least one fixing means (3, 4, 5) of said component, - a support element (10) integral with said body (2), distinct from the fixing means (3, 4, 5), and comprising a support surface (11), said component (1) being intended to rest on said support surface (11) when it is fixed by its fixing means (3, 4, 5), and said support element and said body being arranged such that said support surface is movable relative to said body, - a damper (6) arranged so as to be able to dampen a movement of said body, this movement of said body tending to bring it closer to or move it away from said support surface.
