DRIVE
October 21, 2015
The invention relates to a repulsion(attraction)-based magnetic suspension comprising: - a first suspension part generating a magnetic field; - a second suspension part arranged adjacent to and spaced apart from the first suspension part, which second suspension part comprises means for producing a repelling force to the magnetic field of the first suspension part; - at least one correction coil for generating a magnetic field, which coil is arranged on either the first suspension part or the second suspension part; - means for registering a force on either one of the first suspension part and the second suspension part in the direction of the repelling force; and - a controller for controlling the at least one correction coil based on the registered force.
