The invention relates to an electrical heating device (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one heating element (9) and at least one circuit board (2), wherein the circuit board (2) comprises at least one contacting area (3) for establishing an electrical connection between the heating element (9) and a power source, wherein the heating element (9) comprises a plurality of PTC heating elements (6) which are electrically conductively connected to one another by a contact element (4), wherein the contact element (4) of the heating element (9) is arranged at a distance from the contacting area (3), wherein an electrically conductive connection between the contact element (4) and the contacting area (3) is produced via a plurality of individual conductors (7, 8).
