The invention relates to a lowerable vehicle trailer (1) which has a chassis (3) with longitudinal members (14) and with a pivot axle (4) which is fastened to the chassis by means of axle brackets (23). The axle brackets (23) are arranged on the longitudinal members (14) at a support cutout (15) and are fastened by a bolt connection (28). A support beam (29) is arranged on the chassis (3) which supportingly spans the support cutout (15) and engages under the axle bracket (23).
