FILTER SYSTEM FOR ONE OR MORE BRAKING DEVICES OF A VEHICLE AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF

A filter system for one or more braking devices of a vehicle, the filter system comprising: a suction device configured to generate an airflow in a vicinity of the one or more braking devices; a filter element for filtering brake dust particles generated by the one or more braking devices; an airflow channel positioned to allow the airflow generated by the suction device through the filter element; a controller for operating the suction device; and a processor arranged in data communication with the controller, the processor configured to obtain at least one of an environmental data and a driving mode data as input, and determine an operation state of the suction device as output; wherein the processor is configured to generate a control data, the control data indicative of the operation state of the suction device.
