  "textContent": "The invention relates to a service brake device (1) of a vehicle with a) at least one ABS pressure control valve (26) controlled by an electronic control unit (14) for slip-regulated braking, having at least one inlet valve and one outlet valve, and upstream of a pressure medium-actuated brake cylinder (30), b) a pressure medium line (24) supplying the ABS pressure control valve (26) with pressure medium, into which a pressure controlled by a valve device (12) upstream of the ABS pressure control valve (26) can be introduced, c) at least one wheel speed sensor (34) and/or at least one acceleration sensor for measuring the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle, wherein d) the valve device (12) introduces a pressure derived from a supply pressure of a pressure medium reservoir (8) into the pressure medium line (24) depending on control by the electronic control unit (14), wherein the electronic control unit (14) is designed such that it e) controls the inlet valve and the outlet valve of the ABS pressure control valve (26) and the valve device (12) within the scope of at least one test run in order to generate a pressure in the pressure medium line (24), and f) detects the value of the wheel slip then present by means of the wheel speed sensor (34) and/or the value of the vehicle acceleration or deceleration then present by means of the acceleration sensor and compares it with stored values, and g) generates an error signal in the event of a deviation of the detected values from expected values according to predetermined criteria, wherein h) the electronic control unit (14) is designed such that it controls the inlet valve and the outlet valve of the ABS pressure control valve (26) in blocking position within the scope of the test run and then controls the valve device (12) in order to introduce the pressure derived from the pressure medium reservoir (8) into the pressure medium line (24). The service brake device according to the invention is characterized in that i) the electronic control unit (14) is further designed such that, within the scope of controlling the valve device in order to introduce the pressure derived from the pressure medium reservoir (8) into the pressure medium line (24), it controls the inlet valve and the outlet valve of the ABS pressure control valve (26) in open position.",
