The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for identifying a physical location of a battery pack, and a photovoltaic power plant commissioning addressing method. The apparatus for identifying a physical location of a battery pack and method simplify the physical architecture for physical location identification of the battery pack, and realize automatic address assignment through a dedicated address bus. Compared with the conventional battery pack address calibration method through a physical dip switch or manual labor, the present disclosure improves the processing efficiency and reliability, effectively improving the installation efficiency of the battery packs and even the photovoltaic power plant. In this way, physical location identification of the battery pack is triggered during commissioning, to realize the automatic start and location identification of the battery packs and reduce the commissioning user operations. The physical location identification of the battery pack and commissioning parameter configuration of the photovoltaic power plant are executed simultaneously, which can effectively shorten the commissioning time and improve the user experience.
