Air noise reduction device

The invention concerns a noise reduction device (1) adapted for being mounted within an air supply system of an internal combustion engine so that air can pass through said device (1). According to the invention, said device (1) comprises: - a housing (3) comprising at least one wall defining a hollow enclosure (31), said at least one wall being provided with at least one through hole (316), and - a sound absorbing element (2) located partly inside said hollow enclosure (31), said device (1) being configured to allow the passage of air through said sound absorbing element (2) into the enclosure (31) and the passage of air from the inside to the outside of said enclosure (31) through said at least one through hole (316).
