The present invention relates to a mobile electronic device (X), configured to receive a target location (C) and to transmit a signal to a user of the mobile electronic device (X) when the mobile electronic device (X) points toward the target location (C) using a compass function of the mobile electronic device (X). The mobile electronic device (X) can for example be a smartphone or mobile phone or a vehicle key.
