Method and device for creating an adapted safety map for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a device and a method for creating a customized safety map for a motor vehicle (1), wherein the method comprises the following steps: detecting (S1) roadway condition data by means of a sensor device; determining (S2) a present roadway condition based on the detected roadway condition data; and creating (S3) the customized safety map based on the determined present roadway condition and a primary safety map.
