A drive device (37, 39) of a convertible top (1) of a convertible vehicle is proposed, by means of which a first pivoting component (15) and a second pivoting component (41) are displaceable, with two gears (49, 51), of which a first gear (49) can be coupled to the first pivoting component (15) and a second gear (51) can be coupled to the second pivoting component (41) and the gears (49, 51) mesh with one another. For displacement of the first pivoting component (15), the first gear (49) is mounted so as to roll on the second gear (51). For the displacement movement of the second pivoting component (41), the second gear (51) is rotatably mounted.
