A self-actuating ergonomic secondary support handle assembly (100) for large machines is disclosed. The secondary support handle assembly (100) comprises a secondary support handle (101), a pair of geared hinges (102) coupled with a pair of geared hinges (102D) of a door (D) of the large machine, a rotary joint (103) attached to cabin (C) of the large machine about which the secondary support handle (101) rotates and a plate (104) attached to the cabin (C).
