SOUND GENERATOR FOR A SYSTEM FOR INFLUENCING EXHAUST NOISE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A sound generator 103 for a system for influencing sound waves conducted in exhaust systems of internal combustion engine-driven vehicles has a housing 131, which consists of an upper shell 132 and a lower shell 133, a sound funnel 142 held by the lower shell 133 of the housing 131, which penetrates the lower shell 133 and can be brought into fluid communication with the exhaust system, and a loudspeaker 102 arranged in the housing 131 and carried by the sound funnel 142. The lower shell 133 of the housing 131 carries the upper shell 132 of the housing 131. The sound funnel 142 is carried solely by the lower shell 133 of the housing 131. The lower shell 133 has at least one airtight passage 134 for a control line 135 connected to the loudspeaker 102 and/or at least one pressure equalization valve 136. Further disclosed are an anti-sound system which uses the sound generator, as well as a vehicle which uses this anti-sound system.
