"textContent": "The invention relates to a heat pump. The heat pump has a compressor and an electronically commutated electric motor for driving the compressor. The heat pump also has a power output stage connected to the electric motor for supplying current to the electric motor, which is thermally connected to a section of a refrigerant circuit of the heat pump, so that waste heat generated by the power output stage can be dissipated to the refrigerant circuit. According to the invention, the heat pump has at least one temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is arranged to detect a temperature of the power output stage and to generate a temperature signal representing the temperature. The refrigerant circuit has a bypass fluid line and at least one controllably designed valve. The bypass fluid line is designed to guide a refrigerant flow past the section connected to the power output stage. The valve is designed to release or block the refrigerant flow through the section depending on a control signal. The heat pump has a control unit connected to the temperature sensor, which is designed to generate the control signal depending on the temperature signal.",
