  "textContent": "The invention relates to a housing for a control unit (2), comprising a housing base (4) on which control components that can be connected via cables to external aggregates are mounted, a hood-like cover (6) with an upper cover wall (14), a rear wall (16), two side walls (18) and a front wall (20), at whose lower edge recesses (22) forming cable feedthroughs (66) are formed, and with locking means arranged on the housing base (4) on the one hand and the cover (6) on the other hand, which engage with one another when the cover (6) is pushed onto the housing base (4). It is further provided that at the lower edge of the rear wall (16) of the cover (6) across its entire width, a tab extension (28) directed obliquely downward and forward is arranged, which when the cover (6) is pushed onto the housing base (4) engages from rear to front into an associated groove (30) formed on the housing base (4) with a forward wedge-shaped pointed cross-section, and that in the front area of the cover (6) and the housing base (4) locking means are provided that can be latched and released, which secure the cover (6) against lifting off as well as shifting toward the rear.",
