Transport vehicle for motor vehicles and method for loading them

A transport vehicle (10) with at least three axles (14, 24, 26) for transporting rollable goods or vehicles, in particular motor vehicles (12), passenger cars or the like, is disclosed. The transport vehicle (10) is equipped with a cab (16) arranged at the front above a steerable front axle (14), as well as a transport area (18) arranged behind it and/or extending above the cab (16), comprising at least two support surfaces or loading levels (20, 22) arranged at least partially one above the other, to which a steerable rear axle (24) is assigned at the rear for load support. The axle distance of a driven center axle (26) from the steerable front axle (14) is less than half of the axle distance (30) from the steerable rear axle (24). Furthermore, the invention comprises a method for loading and unloading such a transport vehicle (10).
