Fuel delivery system with valve assembly

A valve assembly (20) for a fuel supply system (10) comprises an attachment (30) which has an inlet (22) for connecting to a delivery line (16) of the fuel supply system (10) and a valve chamber (48) which is connected to the inlet (22). The valve assembly further comprises a pressure relief valve (21). A valve closure (50) of the pressure relief valve (21) is arranged in the valve chamber (48). The valve assembly (20) is designed such that at a specific pressure in the valve chamber (48) the valve closure (50) opens and fuel flows from the valve chamber (48) into a discharge (24) of the pressure relief valve (21) in order to reduce the pressure in the valve chamber (48). The attachment (30) comprises a discharge passage (26) which is in communication with the valve chamber (48), so that the valve closure (50) is flowed around by fuel even when the pressure relief valve (21) is closed.
