A filter device comprises a filter element formed from at least two radially nested filter bellows, wherein at least one filter bellows is to be flowed through in the radial direction and a flow space for the fluid is formed between the filter bellows. Each filter bellows is designed as a star filter with filter pleats arranged in a star-shaped pattern. On at least one end face of the filter element, a sealing ring is arranged between a filter bellows and the filter housing.
