Device for controlling the position of a vehicle during docking at loading-station, loading station with same and corresponding method

The invention relates to a loading dock approach assistance device (12) for supporting the approach of a loading dock (10) by a vehicle (20) to be loaded or unloaded, having a detection device (18) to be arranged in the area of the loading dock (10) for detecting the vehicle (20) and a signal device (22) for sending a signal (54, 58) to the vehicle (20) or its driver (24), wherein the detection device (18) is designed to automatically detect a lateral offset or an angled position of the vehicle (20) relative to the loading dock (10) and wherein the signal device (22) is designed to emit, depending on a corresponding detection by the detection device (18), a signal (54, 58) indicating a lateral offset or an angled position to the vehicle (20) or its driver (24) for correcting the approach process. Furthermore, a method for supporting the approach of a loading dock with the aid of such a loading dock approach assistance device (12) is described.
