The invention relates to a heating and cooling device (1) for a battery, in particular of a motor vehicle, - with a base plate (2), in which at least one fluid path is provided for flow-through with a coolant or refrigerant, - with an insulating plate (3), - with at least one support part (4), in which at least one electrical heating element (11) thermally coupled to the base plate (2) is respectively accommodated, - with a cover plate (18), - wherein the base plate (2), the insulating plate (3), the at least one support part (4) and the cover plate are arranged adjacent to one another along a stacking direction (S; S').
