Flow switch

Flow switch (5) arranged in a motor vehicle, which comprises a drive unit (1) with a compressed air intercooler (7) for driving the drive wheels (2) equipped with brake systems (3), as well as a control unit (11) coupled to the drive unit (1) and at least one sensor (12), wherein to the flow switch (5) an inlet channel (13) with an inlet opening (4) arranged in the front area of the motor vehicle, a brake channel (8) opening into the brake system (3), and a pipe line (6) are coupled, to which the compressed air intercooler (7) is connected. In the flow switch (5) an actuator (9) is arranged, which can be adjusted between a first position in which the brake channel (8) is coupled to the inlet channel (13), and a second position in which the pipe line (6) is coupled to the inlet channel (13), and a third position in which the inlet channel (13) is connected to neither the brake channel (8) nor the pipe line (6). Depending on operating conditions, the impacting cooling air is supplied to individual vehicle systems.
