The invention relates to a vehicle (2) comprising a storage device for storing electrical energy, a charging device (3) by means of which the storage device can be charged by an external charging source (1), and at least one vehicle-mounted device (4, 5) which is suitable for signal generation. The vehicle (2) is distinguished by the fact that the at least one device (4, 5) is activated and generates a signal when a charging connection between the external charging source (1) and the storage device is established and/or interrupted.
