"textContent": "Provided is a drive control device for a hybrid vehicle, whereby no unintentional increase in the drive torque for the vehicle occurs when the engine is stopped during travel in a second hybrid travel mode. When a stop request has been received for the engine (12) when the second hybrid travel mode (HV-2) has been selected, unintentional increases in drive force that occur in an output gear (30) when trying to actively reduce the engine rotation speed using a first electric motor can be compensated for (canceled) by temporarily reducing the output torque of a second electric motor (MG2) and maintaining a constant drive force, because the engine (12) is stopped after switching to a first hybrid travel mode (HV-1), so a carrier (C2) for a second planetary gear device (16) and a carrier (C1) for a first planetary gear device (14) that were linked by a clutch (CL) are separated. As a result, the inconvenience of unintentional temporary increases in vehicle drive torque is eliminated.",
