The present invention relates to a valve for controlling fluids, comprising a valve element (2), an actuator (3) to move the valve element (2) between an open position and a closed position, a return element (4) to return the valve element (2) to an initial position, and an adjustment element (5) to adjust a preload of the return element (4), wherein the adjustment element (5) is connected to the return element (4) or directly contacts the return element (4), wherein the adjustment element (5) comprises a sleeve (51) and a staking element (50), and wherein the staking element (50) provides a staked connection (8) on an outside of the sleeve (51) between the sleeve (51) and a valve component (31).
