The subject of the invention is a lighting device for a motor vehicle comprising at least: - a first control circuit (P1) and a first group of LEDs (1), the first control circuit being capable of controlling the first group of LEDs (1) such that the first group of LEDs participates in the implementation of a first lighting/signaling function, - a second control circuit (P2) and a second group of LEDs (2), the second control circuit being capable of controlling the second group of LEDs (2) such that the second group of LEDs participates in the implementation of a second lighting/signaling function, characterized in that the device comprises a capsule (E) in which the first (1) and second (2) groups of LEDs are encapsulated and in that a distinct specific emission color is assigned to the first function and to the second function.
