Each charging terminal (18) is capable of being connected to an electric vehicle (12) and recharging a battery (19) of said electric vehicle, as well as delivering multiple levels of electrical power. Each charging terminal (18) is connected, via a corresponding electrical line (22), to the electrical power supply (14). The system (10) comprises, for each charging terminal (18), a control unit (20) for controlling the level of electrical power delivered by the charging terminal (18) to the electric vehicle (12) connected to it.
