In order to create a backing-aid device enabling point-precise reverse positioning, with which the remaining distance to a loading ramp can be precisely determined over a large distance range, the distance sensing means consists of a non-contact distance sensor (10) and at least one near-range sensor (11) sensitized to mechanical contact, whereby the evaluation unit is designed to process electrical signals from both the distance sensor (10) and the near-range sensor (11).",
