The method includes: obtaining a minimum predicted ambient temperature within a preset time period; determining a minimum ambient temperature according to the minimum predicted ambient temperature and a current ambient temperature; if the minimum ambient temperature is less than or equal to a first preset temperature threshold, determining a minimum power conservation point of a traction battery according to the minimum ambient temperature; and performing mandatory power conservation control on the vehicle according to the minimum power conservation point, so that the remaining power of the traction battery is not less than the minimum power conservation point.
