VEHICLE SWITCH DEVICE

A vehicle switch device 1 includes: a surface member 3 having optical transparency and elasticity; at least one push-type switch 29 that includes a button member 31 having light-transparency and can operate the button member 31 from a front side of the surface member 3, the button member 31 being disposed on a back side of the surface member 3 and being covered with and hidden by the surface member 3; and at least one light source 9 that indicates an operating position of the at least one switch 29 by emitting light from the back side of the button member 31 and displaying a predetermined design on the surface member 3 in an energized state and causes the surface member 5 to hide the operating position by stopping light emission in an de-energized state; and a main body 15 accommodating the at least one switch 29 and the at least one light source 9. The at least one switch 29 is covered with the surface member 3 without visibly appearing from the front side of the surface member 3.
