SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORECASTING TRAJECTORY BASED ON AIS DATA AND TIDE OBSERVATION STATION INFORMATION

The present invention relates to a device and method for improving the accuracy of trajectory forecasting of an Automatic Identification System (AIS). According to the present invention, a system and method for predicting trajectory using AIS data and tidal observatory information are provided, which are configured to improve the accuracy of prediction even in areas with severe tidal changes by integrating sea level information into AIS data through the nearest tidal gauge and making predictions through feature augmentation.
